What's gonna happen next?

Now that Tell Your Heart to Beat is published, are you curious about what will come next?

It's a good question, and in all truthfulness, I'm not completely sure.

I'll continue as the assistant marketing director and head graphic designer at Skillful Pen Press. That alone will take up a lot of time since Erin Hylands will be stepping down from the company.

Grace Sweeney, Lori Ann Nelson, and I will be keeping the company going as of now and we have some new anthologies coming out this next year. Most of these anthologies are still in the planning stages, so be sure to look out for when our submissions open <3.

In my personal life, I'll just keep enjoying my teenage life and whatever season that God has me in. Making memories, and trying to live my life to the fullest.

As far as my writing journey, I'll be published in some of SPP's anthologies this year and continue to be active in the Young Writers Community.

I would love to get a first draft of a second poetry book by the end of summer and find a story that I enjoy writing. One day in the future I would absolutely love to be able to publish a novel of my own, but that's going to be on a long hold for a while.

I've been considering starting an email list, but that's definitely in the future. My blog will probably stay fairly inactive, while this new site will probably get at least one post a month.

It might take a little while to figure out a good flow for this website's blog so I'd love to know your thoughts on what you'd like to see out of this site.

Writing takes a lot of time, guts, and perseverance. As we roll into this year, I'm gonna just try my best to write as much as I can without burning out and losing the enjoyment of it.

Once we wrap up Tell Your Heart to Beat's street team, I'll probably take a short break from being on blogs, socials, etc. We'll be transitioning into figuring out how to manage the company with the three of us, along with starting the planning of our next anthology.

So in conclusion, I'm not really sure what will be happening next but I can't wait to see while taking y'all on the journey with me.
