April is wrapping up tomorrow and it's been an awesome month! I cannot wait to tell you stuff that's been happening this past month so let's get started!

Writing Life

I've been working hard on a school project that's due soon and I'm actually so excited to see how it turns out. I have to spend 30-40 hours on this project but I'm slowly getting there. I'm writing a book about everything we've learned over the past year and then hand binding it together. I did a mini test run on binding books and it's so cool.

Other than that I've just been doing thing for the company and working on some other smaller projects.

Company Updates

We just had our title reveal for our new Poetry Anthology. It's a beautiful title, if you want to find out more about the title and what it is visit my last blog post or go to Skillful Pen Press' website!

The team has started formatting the book and we're just about to announce something super special, so be sure to not miss that when it comes out!

Personal Life

I've been to a lot of track meets this past month. It's been a lot of fun and I actually enjoy watching track meets, as long as I know some of the other runners.

I had a really good Easter with my family and friends, although I literally only found two out of my eleven eggs *face palm*.

Our youth group, girl Bible study, and school has or is about to wrap up soon. I've loved this past year with our youth group and I'm so grateful for all of it and everyone whose part of it.

Another super fun thing this month was prom! It was so much fun getting ready with some of my friends, dancing, and just having fun with them. It was sorta a small prom but I did enjoy it cuz it was a lot more personal and I like knew everyone in the room.

Something else that I'm super excited for is that I start my summer missionary training and stuff soon! I'm super excited about doing this this year and I hope that my peers and myself can impact kids.

Recent books I've read & Music

Remember that book by Karen Kingsbury that I mentioned last month? Well, I finished To The Moon And Back in like two days and it was SO good. All of her books are amazing.

On that same one, my family and I kinda binge watch The Baxsters, which is a series based from Karen Kingsbury books. If you haven't watched them I 100% recommend them!

A song that has really been tugging at my heart recently has been Keep Me in the Moment by Jeremy Camp. I really do need a reminder to be in the moment and not worry about tomorrows struggles or problems.
